4th Scrappy Saturdays

Link up your scrapbook projects - doesn't just have to be layouts for Scrappy Saturdays! You have until Thursday, March 18th to link up your scrapbook projects. (I decided to do that since Saturdays are busy days for people to spend time with family and get errands done.) Then on Friday, March 19th, I'll do a post sharing my favorites from Scrappy Saturday- Friday Favorites!

Here are my scrapbook projects that I've been working this week- canvases for a review and a winner. Then a simple layout page.

for a Weekly Layout Challenge at Yellow Umbrella Designs: You can enter until Sunday!

Let me know which one is your favorite!

Rules:

Ruffles and Scraps Scrapbook from Storing up My Treasures
She fixed up this scrapbook that was a little dirty from the clearance section.

Perfect for a child's room - I think I'll make one for my son!

She used: 16x20 Canvas, Assortment of coordinating papers, Embellishments (i.e. ribbon, buttons, brads, rhinestones, chipboard letters, etc)

A manly card - it's hard to make things for the men in your life sometimes

Cherish- Thanksgiving Layout

So Yellow Umbrella Designs is doing a Weekly Scrapbook Challenge and now with a prize incentive! This week's prize: Stampin' Up border punch. You can link up starting Mondays and ending the following Sunday. Oh check out the other prize she's giving this week just for getting more followers- just leave a comment with your favorite dessert.

So I swear I've been meaning to participate in her weekly challenges, but you have to create something new - no old layouts that fit the challenge. So a prize incentive really motivated me. I've been thinking about what picture(s) to use for this layout.

Here's my layout for this week's challenge. This is my first scrapbook layout in months! It's so much easier for me to do other people's stuff because it will disappear soon. My stuff - I have too much time to think about it and all the scraps stay put. It will get better - someday when I have my perfect scrapbook room! =D

Enjoy my layout. I even did a little journaling since the challenge had it - I really stink at journaling. I just don't like my handwriting that much. Oh this picture is from Thanksgiving 2009 - see how far behind I am - well I'm even farther behind than that on our family scrapbooks...luckily my son's scrapbook isn't too behind.

You know I'm only 5 fans away from a 100 on my Facebook Page!
hmmmm....might have to do something special if I can get 100 fans and followers soon..... You know I love giving surprise giveaways - what do you think?

I just gave a surprise giveaway to Jill Kathan, another Facebook Fan since she always leaves me awesome comments. I love comments.

Here's what she won: a Scrappy Canvas for her little girl - room for a 4x6 picture.
